Welcome post Art Portfolio 2

Welcome back in my blog, I am so happy to come back from the summer vacation to DMU university and contnue to study Art Portfolio 2. In this part of study I will be explore myself, improve my new skills and developing ideas. 

During my break I visited Mallorca, Spain, where I was so inspired the hande made things like bags, purses and various gifts. My eyes catch attantion the plates with different design and wallet with their name of island. Design of wallet looks like big  'the eye'  on the middle and many eyes around, very colourful.  I bought the examples in my photograph below:

I chose these because of the bright colours red, blue and white, also the modern design, I thought it was exciting. I like the symetrical design, the use of real imagery instead of patterning.  Additionaly, I really like American culture and design style.That's why I chose this thing. 

While I was there, I saw many interesting shops selling a range of plates and bowls with different design, patterns and colours. Those all thing connect whis various type of flowers.  The geometric patterns were interesting and the wide range of different styles. Now that I have seen my brief, I am keep to apply some of these ideas to my own designs.

It was very nice trip in Spain where I got my inspiration. Now, I am ready to new challenges in this term.  I would be work with different materials: metal, upcycled materials also work with new technigues like sewing and weaving. During this I plan to attend Metal and Sewing  workshops it will be new apportunity for me I am so excited to start my new major project. This time I got a very special task which calls 'City Design Crafts'  its create a collection of bags which include: 

-A woman's handbag
-A purse
 -A compact case 
-Make up bag 
-Tote shopping bag 
-A keyring

From the previous term I would like to improve my 2d drawing skills, especially the technique with calls "Linoprint", which I attended in Fine Art Workshop, I like how looks design using this technique and I will be try to again use this in new proect.  Last term I made one print, (see below) but hope to improve upon this during ART Portfolio 2.

Additionaly, I hope to improve my artist research skills, more discribe their work and techniques. This term I decided to pay attention the materials and small details which will be emphasing unique and creative.

                                  Types of Bags: Different Purse Styles for Women

Moreoever, I would try to make a different bags not only designs looks but it must be comfortable to use and very contenst. I will be explore different patern doing this project focusing on the style too. It will be a new expirience for me to make some sewing by my project. I think it will be interesting.
