Wood project - Progression

After my 3 pieces 3D wood were ready, I start to work with colour. In a big store B&G I bought special pains for the wood 'Woodstain'. Before the paint I start sending wood and when surface was smooth, I start work.  

 

It was very dark colour, but very similar to main wood, I thinking it will be looks better. And finally I covering my wood Yacht Varnish I would like to my wood to look shiny. I am very happy to result.

By my second project I use different colour, because I need to get colour like the main tree. And leave them to dry.   

The next day after drying I saw my wood and was a little disappointed with the colour, I thought it would looks more like grey colour but it looked very brown. I think I can fix that to add one more layer colour .

And my last work, I did not to covering this wood colour, only varnish 

                                                               

 

My all wood 3D piece of work almost ready, it remains only to wait. It was not easy way to get all this work, I tried to create 3 different design because it more interesting. During the process I learned new technique and become familiar with different type of machinery, getting valuable experience in the process.
