Experimentation 2D design

During the lesson I was supposed to do experiment with different colour. I decided to use two materials foam and watercolour. I use the foam, because with this material more easier work than with linocut. First of all I using pencil draw my figure on the foam, then take scissors and cut the shapes. Then, using glue I glued my form to the cardboard. Using a toothpick, I made several lines that represent the bark of a tree, by flowers pattern I made the hole.

My next step was using the colour ink, I take a blue and brown colours, using the roller I spread the  colour on the desk. But before to doing print I use watercolour and drew background, I chose different colours and drew lines using wet on wet technique.

I combine the ink foam print with watercolour. Represent wood I use  foam print and watercolour , the ceramic only foam print. I use I try different ways to do 2D design but this one more easier for me and l like the final result. I would to try do two more design using definitely this techniques.

It was really interesting and easy to work with foam material. I could create different shapes of wood and flower, only use scissors and toothpick. At first, I did not get the prints right because I didn't use enough ink. So my drawings were quite blurry. But after a few tries I realized my mistake and started adding more ink. As a result, my drawings become more better.
