Ceramic Project - Progression

The next step with me ceramic part project was create a glaze. But before, I first changed the colour after first fire, because my flowers seemed very light to me and that's why I decided to add more blue colour. But the teacher warned me that  it should be a very thin layer of colour because during the 2nd fire the ceramics can crack and break, so I was very careful.

After 2 days when my ceramic got second fire, hopefully all flowers was well, nothing to broke and it was time to do glaze. Before using this substance I must firs stir it well, then pour it into another bowl to make this process more convenient. 

After dipping the ceramic products in the liquid, they dried very quickly, during 2sec. Then, I wiped them with a cloth to remove cover liquid from the parts that will touch other materials so they won't be slippery. 

 Finally, I put them on special shelf for the next step. Where they will got the final progressing the glaze.

Update 

This process is quite long, and I am worried about the colour. Initially, I chose blue and yellow, but currently looks too white. After consulted with a teacher I add more blue colour, and it will be very deep blue colour. The process glaze was very fast, this step I more like, because it only 2-3 min, and after fire I can see perfectly shine flowers. Additionally, I am excited to see how the glaze will enhance the overall of the all project.
