Creating An Adrert : research
My target market consists of the young Gen Z generation, born between the mid-1990s and early 2010s. The "Sport is your life" advert is made for active Gen Z individuals who interest in sports, fitness, and active lifestyle. The advert underscores the importance of sports in their lives.
Having helped shape a culture where fitness is a social media mainstay, Gen Z are frequently dubbed ‘Generation Active’ – and 36% of them are already exercising regularly. But this is just the tip of the iceberg(Mills, 2023)
Half of Gen Z wants to exercise regularly but needs help starting, they see fitness as part of a lifestyle, not just for body shape, but for feeling good. They value diversity and staying healthy.
Gen Z is increasingly interested in taking care of their mental and emotional health in addition to their physical health. Why? Harmony Healthcare IT research reveals that 42% of Gen Zers have been diagnosed with a mental health condition and 68% say it was because of the pandemic (Healthcare, 2023).
Basically, it is a strong message that show how much sport can mean to someone, physically and emotionally.
